Dan Ballister is the founder and managing general partner of OTW Ventures. He has a 17+ year background in digital media, having served most recently as the founding President and COO of TRAFFIQ, a leading, venture-backed display media management platform.

Previously, Dan held senior marketing, business development, and sales positions with the National Basketball Association, (Nasdaq: FWHT), and Go2Net (Nasdaq: INSP). He also helped to launch Microsoft’s sales force, and served in various management roles at Hallmark Cards, and for the U.S. division of Reckitt Benckiser.

He served five years as a Surface Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy, and holds a degree in Physical Science from the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD.

Kevin Flynn is the Chief Technology Officer at OTW Ventures. In addition to managing ad overseeing all technical operations at OTW, Kevin serves as an active field tester for Microsoft and DirecTV, testing and evaluating pre-release software and products on a weekly basis. He served as the ranking technical consultant to Bethlehem Central High School and Guilderland Central High School. Kevin currently attends SUNY College at Brockport where he is pursuing a degree in Computer Information Systems and Business.

Ruben Baerga is a founding partner at Over The Wall Ventures, with a specific expertise in all forms of e-commerce and digital operations.

Prior to joining OTW Ventures, Ruben was the Chief Operating Officer at Swirl by DailyCandy/SVP Comcast Interactive Media, where he had P&L responsibility for CIM e-commerce platform tasked with generating new revenue through a traditionally content-based ad model. As COO he oversaw strategic planning, site operations, technology, real estate, web merchandising, online marketing, logistics, customer service and creative for the DailyCandy e-commerce businesses.

Previously, Ruben was the Vice President of Client Services and Sporting Goods, GSI Commerce Inc, a leading provider of e-commerce and interactive marketing services for the world’s premier brands and retailers where he served as General Manager of the sporting goods business with a $225 million P&L.

Ruben has also served in exec/senior management roles with, Airborne Express, and He also served six years in the U.S. Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer, and holds a Computer Science degree from the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland.

Scott Johnston is a Sales & Marketing Leader with 20+ years developing national & regional brand strategies through senior level sales teams. A demonstrated and proven record of success in both sales seadership and Individual Contributor roles. Spent the past ten years working with national brands at the CEO, CMO and CFO levels developing custom-branded digital/mobile customer & employee engagement solutions that incent & drive desired behaviors.

Most recently Scott was VP of Sales and Business Development for / HSP LLC, developing and implementing digital and mobile solutions that impact the customer engagement lifecycle. Clients include McDonalds, Discover Financial, Pepsi Co, Direct Energy, Aimia, and Capital One.

Scott has worked in senior business development, sales, and sales management roles with Entertainment/ HSP LLC, American Express, IAC / Microsoft Sidewalk, Angara Ecommerce Services, and Reckitt Benckiser.

Scott lives in Boston, MA with his wife Katrina and three children. Scott is a veteran of the US Army, 82nd Airborne Division in Ft Bragg, NC. He attended Union College in Schenectady, NY.
